PACIFIC BEHAVIORAL CENTER INC. offers more services for our clients who want to improve their quality of life as individuals and members of the society. We also offer concurrent services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use issues. Our experienced mental health professionals are dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each individual.

We serve a diverse population of both males and females 18 years and older who struggle with co-occurring conditions. We offer a comprehensive and holistic approach, utilizing interactive therapies to elicit or clarify present and past records, identify the roots of the problems, and educate to resolve or manage their issues. By doing this, we decrease their chances of similar cases arising in the future. We serve clients from Maricopa County and Pinal County and accept clients from referring agencies in Arizona.

Cultural Competency
By gaining the ability to understand, appreciate, and work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, our group counseling participants can better interact with various people. This is also an important skill for mental health professionals like us as it can help us understand the uniqueness of our clients’ beliefs and values, giving us apt knowledge and sensitivity on how to communicate with them.
Case Management
Case Management provides a variety of services to meet members’ individualized needs to assist them in their recovery.
Job Readiness
We make sure that they are ready to take part and function in society. We prepare and train them with the necessary skills to succeed in the workforce, including job search skills, resume writing, and interview preparation.
Peer Support
Peer support refers to support provided by individuals who have experienced similar challenges and can provide empathy, understanding, and advice. We provide individual and group support for peers/members. Topics of support may include support regarding lived experiences such as substance use and behavioral health. Peer services complement the clinical support offered by psychiatry, counseling, and case management.
Vocational Rehabilitation
Vocational Rehabilitation refers to a set of services and support designed to help individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment to achieve their career goals. We provide assessments and recommendations for employment, training, job/personal accommodations, or other rehabilitation services.
Opioid Treatment
Opioids or narcotics are doctor-prescribed drugs to manage and treat persistent or severe pain such as migraines or for patients after surgery, accidents, or individuals who have gotten into accidents. However, it can become addicting to some. It is usually treated with medication-assisted treatment to manage withdrawal symptoms and urges.
Detoxification Services
A critical first step in the recovery process for individuals struggling with substance abuse, detoxification services is a medically-supervised process that ensures monitoring of their vital signs and mental health status. Professionals and staff also enact preventive measures to counter the effects of withdrawal among patients.
Facility-Based Crisis
Facility-based crisis services are an alternative to hospitalization for patients with co-occurring conditions. These are emergency mental health services provided in a secure non-hospital, community setting. These services are designed to provide immediate support and stabilization for individuals in crisis.
Supportive Employment or Long-Term Vocational Supports
Supportive employment and long-term vocational supports are programs and services aimed at helping individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Through these supports, they can hopefully reintegrate into the workforce and achieve stability in their careers. Adult mental health residential programs, for example, supervised living (low or moderate) or group living (low, moderate, or high) programs are also an option..
Specialized Acute Inpatient or Outpatient Therapy
Acute inpatient therapy pertains to patients receiving therapy while in the hospital or any healthcare facility. Outpatient therapy, on the other hand, refers to patients receiving therapy without being institutionalized. Both services are a requirement for specialized and highly-tailored behavioral health treatment in response to the individual’s specific needs and symptoms.
Substance Abuse Residential Treatment
A comprehensive and intensive form of treatment, individuals struggling with substance abuse will live in a structured and supportive environment for a specified period to focus solely on recovery. The residential treatment typically lasts for 30 days or more.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation for a 30-Day Transition Period
Psychosocial rehabilitation for a 30-day transition period pertains to a structured and supportive program aimed at helping individuals transition from a residential treatment program to independent living. The program typically lasts for 30 days and focuses on building skills and support networks to facilitate successful reintegration into the community.
