Helping patients identify and provide solutions to negative thoughts and behaviors

Individuals need a safe and supportive environment where they can work through their emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges with peace. There is an abundance of personal, intimate problems that need to be faced individually. However, we know that a group approach to mental health treatment can provide different advantages from individual treatments. Facing problems as a group can provide individuals with the support, motivation, and skills they need to work through their emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges.

At PACIFIC BEHAVIORAL CENTER INC., we believe in the power balance of individuality and support. This is why we offer our patients options to face their issues on their own or with others facing similar issues. Whether through individual or group counseling, participating consistently in counseling can lead to improved mental health and greater overall well-being.

Our experts can provide:

Individual Counseling

Integrated Dual-Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT)

IDDT is a comprehensive approach to treating individuals who struggle with both mental health and substance use disorders. This form of treatment recognizes the interplay between these conditions and addresses both simultaneously, rather than treating each condition separately. This approach to treating dual diagnosis is based on the belief that mental health and substance use disorders are closely linked and can worsen each other.

Domestic Violence Counseling

Survivors of domestic violence need a steady rock to cope with the physical, sexual, emotional, or psychological abuse that their intimate partners have inflicted on them. We help them to overcome their trauma.

Anger Management

Individual anger management counseling can help individuals to talk about their feelings without being self-conscious about others. They can work on their emotions one-on-one with our expert mental health professionals, learn healthy ways to regulate their emotions, and increase self-awareness which helps them to change and improve their behaviors when the roots of their anger are triggered.

Group Counseling

Substance Abuse Counseling

We help individuals who are facing the consequences of the harmful use of drugs or alcohol and aim to help them seek support in a group who are on the same path to recovery.

Anger Management Group Counseling

Our group counseling is helpful for individuals who are identified to have anger management issues. Having a safe platform to speak about their feelings can help them manage their anger in a healthy way.

Independent Living Skills

We equip individuals with the abilities and knowledge they need to live independently, such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and time management.

Domestic Violence Counseling

Survivors of domestic violence need a steady rock to cope with the physical, sexual, emotional, or psychological abuse that their intimate partners have inflicted on them. We help them to overcome their trauma.

Parenting

Raising and caring for children, including providing physical care, emotional support, and discipline, can be a challenging task, and some parents may struggle with it. That is why we are here to offer a warm support.

Our experts aim to improve the overall well-being of our clients who are diagnosed with dual diagnosis and increase the chances of long-term recovery.
